Volodymyr Lytvyn, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine expressed for the Necessity of Refusal of the Political Rhetoric in the Economic Sphere in favor of the Practical Actions
"It is necessary to reduce the quantity of the political rhetoric and commence the practical actions", V. Lytvyn declared on Tuesday in the course of the interview for the journalists in Dublin, giving comments regarding the meetings that were conducted in the framework of the official visit of the Chairman of the Ukrainian Parliament to Ireland.
V. Lytvyn is convinced that the experience of Ireland should be an example of bright efficiency of the financial-political reforms for Ukraine. This country, the Head of the Ukrainian Parliament stated, in the short period reached immense results in its economic development. As an example V. Lytvyn named GDP index that comprises in Ireland, according to his words, more than EUR 40 thousand and in Ukraine this index comprises USD 5-7 thousand.
"Ukrainian Government, its Parliament and other power institutions are supposed to take care first of all of the investments attraction into the state, second of all, it is extremely necessary to investigate under what conditions the attractive and favorable environment can be formed and how the Ukrainian products can be exported broad, in order to promote the domestic industry", - he emphasized.
V. Lytvyn reminded that the investment rates, attracted into the Irish economy comprise nearly EUR 120 billion per year when "Ukraine is extremely happy to receive approximately 1 billion investments for the period of its independence." The Head of the Ukrainian Parliament declared that the investment attraction envisages first of all the political stability in the state, certainty of its development and considerable reduction of the corruption cases and power abuse.
Giving answers to the questions regarding the taxation reform as a basis for the improvement of the investment climate, V. Lytvyn briefed that Ukraine "needs not only the reduction of the taxes but as well it is extremely necessary to broaden the taxation basis, simplify administration in the sphere and made taxes protect their payers."
V. Lytvyn also indicated that he upholds the expediency of free economic zone (FEZ) formation in Ukraine, "though it is not to be done in a form of the "black holes" for the flow of the Ukrainian capital." "In general we are obliged to form the conditions for the whole Ukraine to be free economic zone", V. Lytvyn is convinced.
"It should be profitable to work in Ukraine, one should be interested in the investing into the state economic, then a foreign investor will come to our state", he concluded.
